Going through Iceland to Greenland gives one the opportunity to see two exotic lands on one trip. We have some combination Iceland/Greenland itineraries that show the best of both worlds...and they are two very different worlds.

The East coast - Kulusuk and Angmagsslaik (also called Tasilaq and Ammassalik) are not easily reached except via Iceland. It is a very distinctive part of Greenland.

This coast is laced with ice strewn waterways. The European influence is not as strong here since it was not known to them until the 1880's so a very high degree of Innuit influence remains around Kulusuk and Angmagssilik.
