Meeting hunters coming back from. their hunt up around Sarpac Island.

These modern sleds are 12 feet long or so.

The traditionlal East Greenlandic sledge was about half that length. The Western and Northwestern Greenlanders used long sleds
to bridge open water leads between ice floes.
